Jennifer Clary and Michelle Vick–best friends since childhood–were inspired to start The Baby Box Co. upon learning about the boxes that are delivered to all expectant mothers in Finland. Michelle, a new mom herself, wished that she had been sent something just like it when her daughter was born, instead of having to figure out exactly what she needed and which products were the best through the frustrating, lengthy (and expensive) process of trial and error. She was also looking for a way to share her knowledge and experience with other moms. Meanwhile, Jennifer, a proud aunt and a founder of jenkev productions, Inc, was looking for a way to use her extensive entrepreneurship experience to build a company that helps new parents and babies. And thus, The Baby Box Company was born! Instead of having to tirelessly research to find all the best products they’ll need to welcome their new baby, mothers can now sit back and let The Baby Box Co. do all the work.
THEIR MISSION
The Baby Box Co.’s mission is to give expectant mothers throughout the world the very best start for their babies, enabling them to reduce stress and feel confident that they are well prepared (or, as well prepared as one can possibly be) for this new and exciting chapter in their life. For every box that is purchased, a portion of the proceeds goes towards helping a new mother who is struggling to make ends meet. It’s a priority for us to know that our company is providing shoppers with the best baby products available while simultaneously making a positive difference for moms living in poverty.
